Run by an experienced I.G.F.A. peacock bass angler, the Amazon Obsession is a classic Amazon riverboat dedicated to taking small fishing parties into remote
areas of Brazil. Explore the Rio Negro, Madeira or the Jauaperi River in search of trophy-class peacocks and giant jungle catfish. The Obsession accommodates
just 14 anglers a week, allowing for a more personalized angling adventure by an excellent staff. Its dining room serves some of the best meals in the Amazon.
Anglers fish from 18-foot skiffs with outboard motor (two anglers and one guide
per boat). The skiffs have two platforms, one in the front, the other in the back, offering comfort and space for fly fishermen and baitcasting anglers. Anglers can
choose fly fishing, casting or spinning, or other techniques specific to different species. The skiff is also prepared for catfishermen with eight rod holders, rope
and an anchor to fish in various prime catfish spots.
