Peacock Bass Expedition
Location - Rio Unini, Brazil Over the years, Brazil's Unini River has proven itself to be the premier trophy peacock bass fishery in the entire Amazon basin. The aquatic ecology of the river, combined with unmatched fish genetics, consistently produces more 25-plus pound peacock bass than anywhere else on earth. This, my angling friends, is an undisputable fact!
Our team has recently secured approximately 270 kilometers of the Unini's finest waters as your exclusive angling Shangri-la. No other outfitters, commercial fishermen or sport fisherman can access this water. Our fishery management and outfitting philosophy centers around consistent angling productivity, comfort and a quality exclusive angling experience. Our exclusive trophy fishery and outfitting philosophy truly sets us apart from the rest of the Amazon outfitting community. In order to offer outstanding, consistent fishing throughout our short three month season, we limit weekly numbers to a maximum of 16 anglers. Furthermore, this number is divided into two separate groups that fish two completely separate sections of the river (6 in our upriver yacht and 10 in our mid-river yacht). We spread out the fishing locations and rest and rotate the best angling locations, so everyone gets a shot at fresh fish each week. The limited number of anglers fishing week and our relatively short fishing season will ensure that the river's angling and trophy quality will remain consistent year after year.
