Agua Boa Amazon Lodge

 The Agua Boa lodge is situated almost 200 miles north
west of Manaus in deep jungle. It is a fly fishing only operation and prides itself on its policy of catch & release and only allowing single barbless hooks. The
beautiful clear waters of the Agua Boa river are ideally suited for sight fishing the giant cruising Peacock Bass, or search the depths of one of the many lagoons in
search of that elusive "pirarucu". During the course of a season numerous Peacock Bass are landed between 14 and 20 lbs, with the current record fish still
standing at 23lbs, an awesome fight on a fly rod!
Guests fish 2 anglers per boat with a guide, and fish a different section of the Agua Boa river and lagoons
each day. For your safety all boats are equipped with lifejackets and have contact with the Lodge by radio.
The six fully air conditioned and well equipped chalets are excellently appointed in a row overlooking the river
. Each chalet has two queen size beds, en-suite shower, individual toilet and dressing room, wireless broadband internet connection and a frigobar.
Accommodation is based on double occupancy. (Single chalet occupancy including single person per boat is available at additional cost). There is a daily laundry service.
The large Lodge building incorporates a large dining room, lounge/living room with international satellite TV, an
excellent bar, and games room. You may also decide to take a relaxing glass of caipirinha from the "dry" and "wet" bar
whilst relaxing in the 20 meter swimming pool after a long day on the river.
This outstanding fly fishing location is also home to some of the most spectacular Amazonia wildlife.
Transfer from Manaus international airport to and from your hotel, and the charter flight to the Lodge are included in
your package and are organised by our Lodge representative in Manaus.
